TL is a Social Worker based in the Care Coordination Team at ACON, providing support and counselling for clients with complex needs.
TL initially completed a degree in architecture but found her true calling in Social Work. She has a background in Juvenile Justice, Royal Commission into Institutional response to child sexual abuse, Sexual Health, HIV Health and LGBTIQ Health. TL completed her master’s in counselling for Social Work in 2015, and she practices within strength-based approach as well as Narrative Therapeutic approach.
TL has diploma in interpretating for English-Vietnamese, and she also speaks conversational French.
TL identifies as bisexual, Australian-Vietnamese cisgender woman, a feminist, a dog enthusiast, an astronomy wonderer, a jiggle puzzle struggler, and a penchant for mathematical/scientific jokes/memes.
