General Practitioner
About Us:
Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre (LWCHC) provides health care, counselling and health education to women over 14 living in Sydney’s inner west, inner city and southwestern suburbs.
About the Opportunity:
Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre is seeking a female GP for 1-2 days a week with one day being a Tuesday. This is a permanent part-time position.
Our clinic specialises in providing comprehensive healthcare tailored to women's unique needs. We are dedicated to offering services that prioritise the specific concerns and wellness goals of women at every stage of life.
Doctors in our practice are well supported by our excellent admin team and an experienced nurse who are passionate about patient outcomes and continuous improvement. With a collaborative environment, and an expanding patient base, we offer a great place to grow your career.
Rate of Pay: $145 per hour
Hours: 9am to 5.00pm (7 hour days)
Essential criteria
• Qualifications, credentials, training, and competence to work as a general practitioner
• Current national registration and medical indemnity insurance
• Ability to work within GP scope of practice
• Willingness to actively participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Current CPR credentials
• Experience working with women experiencing disadvantage and at risk of poor health outcomes.
• Experience in working in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive way.

该中心每年为至少七名攻读医学、护理、自然疗法和社会工作等领域的高等院校学生提供实习机会。我们还为来自 TAFE 学院和大学的学生提供入学指导讲座。

Counselling students – please note any counselling placements we may provide will be project based, you won’t have the opportunity to counsel clients or observe counselling sessions.
