Ses Salmond
Manager
Dr. Ses Salmond brings extensive clinical, research, organisational, strategic and collaborative expertise to the manager position at Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre.
Her depth of experience includes being a naturopathic clinician for 31 years, 29 of which at Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre, before becoming Manager in June 2022. She completed a PhD-based clinical trial in three teaching hospitals in NSW on using silymarin and antioxidants to treat chronic hepatitis C.
Ses is a firm believer in empowering women to lead healthy, safe and fulfilling lives. She champions diversity and inclusion at all levels of the organisation, and encourages staff, Board and stakeholder involvement in the strategic direction of LWCHC.
Ses values partnership, networking, and collaboration to provide the best possible healthcare, support, and education in response to and informed by community needs.
She is an avid reader, swimmer, and tennis player and enjoys game nights and Pilates.
Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre provides client centred and trauma informed wrap-around health services, support and education to marginalised and financially disadvantaged women.
