Marta Vasquez

Martha is an experienced health service manager with over 20 years in the health and Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector. She is a qualified registered nurse, midwife, and child & family health nurse, with extensive clinical experience across public and private hospitals, academia, community health, and the NFP sector, predominantly working with at-risk women, children, and families.
Currently, Martha serves as an Executive General Manager at Growing Potential Ltd., where she continues to demonstrate her leadership and dedication to improving community services.
Martha holds a Master’s degree in Health Management and was awarded the UN Women Master of Business Administration (MBA) scholarship to undertake an MBA at the University of Sydney.
Passionate about gender equality, social justice, and daring leadership, Martha finds her proudest professional moments in the success and growth of her direct reports.
With proud Latin-American roots, Martha speaks fluent Spanish and was born in South-West Sydney, where she continues to live with her husband and three daughters. Her background fuels her strong commitment to an evidence and strengths-based approach, aimed at fostering community growth and development.
Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre provides client centred and trauma informed wrap-around health services, support and education to marginalised and financially disadvantaged women.
