Lynette Bearlin
Vice Chair
Lyn is a retired health manager, nurse and social worker, with post-graduate qualifications in community development. She has 19 years experience in managing large and diverse grant programs for NSW Health and previously Community Services Victoria, including many women’s health grants.
Lyn has extensive experience in working with non-Government organisations, in multicultural health and in social justice and equity programs.
She is currently active in a number of community organisations in the inner west, with a sustainability and/or refugee focus. She is also a long term community fundraiser for Medecins Sans Frontieres.
Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre provides client centred and trauma informed wrap-around health services, support and education to marginalised and financially disadvantaged women.
